Hello everybody! I've got some mouse problems when hovering and clicking around.

It is most apparent in Safari where I for example can't navigate in some menus or the link doesn't show in the statusbar. The clicking problem appears most in Finder and Safari where if I click something and drag the file in Finder (or link and image in Safari) it get "stuck" under the pointer and I can't release it. I've figured out that I can reset it by pressing escape a couple of times.

Another clicking problem I found was that if I click an item in the menubar and the clicked another item, the second menulist shows up and then fading out like if I pressed the second item twice.

The hardware I using is a week or so old Mac Mini with two different no name mice with changed batteries. I am using USB Overdrive to make all keys on one of the mice to work. I have a feeling here is where the problem because I have some inconsistencies with it. For example, I've set button 5 to be a button 5 click and that, in mission control settings, is mapped to show mission control but in Safari it will act as a forward button.

Hope someone understands my ramblings and can point me to where to start debugging this or how to solve it because I have really no idea where to start. I've seen a couple of similar problems on StackExchange but they solved it by reinstalling drivers (which my mice doesn't have) or just restarting the computer, neither witch work for me (or more exactly, restarting the computer works a couple of minutes then everything starts acting up again).

Have a nice day!
