It seems using Sidecar plus the hover feature is very close to (or exactly like) using a Windows type pen (Wacom, N-trig, etc.). At least that's my experience so far. I have yet to try to get right-click the way I want it, but that's not a showstopper, if it's an issue.
So the iPad is like a Wacom tablet. This is a considerable update. Of course it's common with Windows and Android, but who wants to use those?
