Trying to create an ubermemory account that I can log into when I need every precious drop of memory for Motion.
I tried booting in safe mode, as I read that this only loaded what OS X needs to get up and running (saw an increase of ~30% resources) But I can run Motion in that start up and it took forever to boot.
The only option that is apparent is to google every single running process and quit them everytime I start up that user (no good)
And no, there are no login items associated w/this problem, they are all automatic startups. I also do not wish to impact other user accounts by eliminating their processes, just this "Bare Bones" account I seek to make.
Any tips?
