Think of it as merging the status bar with the multitasking bar...
It solves the notification and setting issues while implementing multitasking.

Double tap the home button like in 4.0 for multitasking, and the app "minimizes" revealing the status/multitasking 'bar' behind it.

Oh btw ignore the 24-hour clock, Dvorak simplified keyboard, and the Spanish.
Let me know what you think, even if you hate it :)

Now that would have me excited about the next iPhone...Instead of just the blah feeling I have now.
 
That is FUGLY

He is just portraying an example on what they could have done, not what it could of looked like...

Anyways, this is a awesome idea! Too bad Apple will probably never do something like this. Watch for it in the Cydia community :)
