I was just wondering as my title states: "How accurate is Apple's ship/delivery dates?"

After having to cancel my first order I placed another order on the 10th for a stock 2.26Ghz model with a ship date of 24 hours. Over the weekend I received an email that my MBP was ready for shipment and as of now no update on whether it has shipped. Now it is not slated to deliver by latest Wednesday (based on Apple's site at purchase) and due to the weekend I am sure my order might be off a day or so, but I am trying to get an idea how accurate the stated delivery times are so I can make plans to be around for the delivery.

Thanks in advance.

I got my mini the on the first day of the window. My mom got her Studio 1537 a few days before the estimated arrival of the 14th.

Well mine just arrived :D and the date Apple stated it would. Thanks for all the feedback for I am off to enjoy my new Mac.

My experience with applestore is 1 whitebook 1 unibody macbook and 1 13" macbook pro, an ipod nano, everything was ordered separately at different times of the year and i have always received my items 4-5 days before estimated arrival.

No nextday or overnight shipping option over here :(
