Hi,

I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks time, if I order an iphone 4 from the Apple website do I stand any chance of getting it before I go?

Thanks.

I would say no, mine shipped on the 8th and it was supposed to ship on the 14th, but I still dont have it yet, Cancel your order and when you get home the shipping time will probably be less anyway.

I ordered on the 24th, and it's supposed to ship by the 14th. It still hasn't shipped yet.

The US seems to take priority over UK orders. Boooo.

I am at the opposite situation, I am away for holidays and wont be coming back till the end of the month.
I am thinking on ordering today or tomorrow (its exactly 3 weeks, the day I arrive back home), but I was wondering what will happen in the rare case of the phone been shipped before that.

A guy in this forum (from uk) said that he order on Friday and received it on Monday, thats something I definitely not want to happen.

So do you guys know what happens if for example the package arrives like a week before I arrive, is it send back to apple? then what, any charges for re-delivery etc ?

From Apple? It seems unlikely. They are shipping from China which takes longer than a weekend. Maybe they ordered direct from O2/CPW/Orange etc.

So 3 weeks shipping time is wishful thinking then :(

Ordered june 20th, ETA 7th of july. Still no phone (ETA 16th).

I'm thinking that 3 weeks is wishful thinking. A pop down the store is your safest bet. And had I known I would have done the same...

Oh well, that settles it.

Do the stores keep stock for walk-in customers not on the reservation list?

I ordered mine on 25th June, and it shipped early on 10th July. However, current ETA is 22nd July.
