How and where do I download GIMP from?

I tried going to the Gimp webpage when I clicked on the download link, it did not do anything. Is there a system requirement, am I doing something wrong. How do I download this application?

oooooooooooh, that looks like some work there that I have to do. Its my first Mac and I would wait until I find someone who will do it for me. i don't want to do anything that complicated and mess up my system, thanks for the information though.

It's fairly straightforward; I don't think there's any danger of messing up your system.

Try Seashore. It's a Mac-native Version of GIMP.
