How are we on iOS7 already without audio crossfade!?

Talk about neglect! iTunes has had this feature forever. My 5th Gen iPod nano has it baked in as well as many third party apps so we know it's not a hardware issue? Every so often I submit this feature request from apple but nothing. Am I the only one that want's this built in?

As I mentioned, it is supported by third party apps why can't it be built in? Most of these apps are crap. djay 1 & 2 I think work best BTW.
