How best to display a set of pictures...

I really want to create an interesting movie of a set of pictures using some 3D cameras and any other techniques that you can suggest.

Does anyone know any good sites for tutorials or any good ideas for displaying the pictures in an interesting way.

I might do some 2D -> 3D pictures as well if anyone has had any experience with that!
