Hi All,
In the good old days one could use iTunes, download copies of the apps. Then install and arrange the home screen as one saw fit. Perfectly simple solution. A couple of years ago apple took away that feature and then last year (or already two?) they even decided to downgrade iTunes even more (but I digress). WHY APPLE, WHY???
So I more or less gave up and now have the first two screens sorted and then just use "spotlight"/siri/search to open whatever app I need. BUT I also know that since I don't currently manage my apps, I forget some of the clever ones I have (but might not use regularly).
So simply put, how do you manage your apps in 2021? How do you keep track? Are you just diligent and keep sorting them into screens/folders or ??? Are their external mac apps/tools you use ? Or??? Am I missing some obvious solutions? In fairness I've not kept track with the newer ioses. I know the device now presorts them in an App library but that still seems cumbersome and again since it isn't strictly managed by me I would still lose track of Apps.
I got a new iphone and moved my basic data set but want to more or less start from scratch when it comes to app management
Thanks for any advice,
Philly
