Heard some like Rage take almost 5GB yikes is that true?

Hmm

Would take forever to find an average size, too much of a wide range, unless of course you have too much time on your hands.

I haven't seen any 5GB games, but I've downloaded 2 or 3 (Infinity Blade and Rage HD come to mind) that were a touch over 1GB.

Infinity Blade: 584 MB
Rage HD: 745 MB
Dead Space HD: 427 MB
Real Racing 2 HD: 402 MB

Yea saw that but heard with the required updates that adds another GB or so maybe not true

Not true at all. If the game has any updates, it's just like iOS where you have to redownload the entire game. (They could add over 1GB but then the file size would be bigger in iTunes.) Dead Space recently added a new game mode and it's still pretty low in size. Why are you asking in the first place? Still haven't decided on which size to get?

Yea pretty much ok I see, thought they might be a whole lot bigger than iPhone games, leaning heavily toward the 16GB as I do own a 32GB iPhone already.

I have my iPhone maxed out but when I look at it over half the games and apps I hardly touch. The thing is on the iPad games and apps seem they would be a lot funner and more appealing to use because the screen obviously.

Don't let the 16gb one scare you. I have a lot of the big games on mine, Rage, Infinity blade, Dead space, some MMO's too and a bunch others and I'm nowhere close to 16gb. But I don't carry any movies around, and I carry very little music preferring to stream it live, I think something like movies would make a big difference if you wanted to consider a larger capacity.
