ignore list?! So, a recent thread inspired me to ask the unaskable... what percentage of MR members would you say you have placed on your ignore list at one time or another? Without naming names, please enlighten me. What usually causes you to blot out the hypothetical existence of a fellow MR member...

I am sure I will not hear from those who may have placed me on their list, this may be my stealthy way of pinpointing who they are!;)

I put several people on my ignore list, but took them off because I would end up seeing their posts anyway when someone would quote their replys.

If VBulletin could allow you to complete block someone, ie. not see their names or their posts, even in quotes, then yes, I would give it another try.

Members who post snarky one-sentence replies get my vote for the fast track to the ignore list.

Did I hear something? Nope, guess it was my imagination. Or maybe
it was a squeak caused by my huge ignore list...

Move along...nothing to see here. :D

I have no one on my ignore list and never had. I just have to laugh at stupid people posting stupid things and if they really irritate me then i tell them at have a rant (which is almost certainly why i was banned). The newbies are the worst whining about stuff and there are to many to block.

This may make me sound stupid but i look at people's titles to show me if they are worth listening to

And you might want to consider changing those options. 1 percent eans having 88 people blocked which is a hell of a lot

So from the poll, I'm gathering that anyone who ignores anyone at all is ignoring me!

Ah, well, musta been that toilet seat thread I started as a noob.

Mine has only ever had 4 occupants, but one was subsequently banned so it currently stands at 3. I do like it when one of the three posts and you get the "You cannot read this post" message. Makes me chuckle thinking how I used to get annoyed by their drivel :)

don't feel too bad, but i do wonder if i'm on anyone's ignore list as well
I couldn't care if I am. The way I see it, if I use the feature others do too. It's unrealistic to expect to get on with everyone.

I've never had anyone on my list. This is either because I'm an incredibly tolerant and patient individual, or (more likely) because I'm nosey enough to want to see what people are on about, even those who get on my nerves a bit. ;)

I'm another with 0. I've considered ignoring a few people, problem is though, the ones that are the most annoying are often the most entertaining at the same time. :D

I don't ignore anyone here. I'm democratic like that. I prefer to hear the garbage as much as the good stuff.

Plus I'm from New York City so words on this forum don't mean much compared to a bunch of flying .45 slugs at my lurching body.

0. I have arguments with people sometimes, but I don't dislike anyone. It's the internet. Should it really be taken personally?

I don't have anyone on my ignore list because I'm here to interact with everyone, even people who are very different than me. I treat internet like I do real life --- there are people I understand, and there are people I don't get along with. I won't block them. I just won't reply to their posts directly and socialise or joke with him/her.

If I really wanted to ignore everyone who annoyed me sometimes, I'd be posting here by myself. :p

I'm on your ignore list, aren't I? Ah hell, why ask. It's not like you're going to be able to read my question anyway.

Nice. There is a lot of banter going on between you and spicyapple at the moment.

But i like your sarky comments. They make me laff

Sorry those bullets were aimed at the fellow behind you. ;)

I don't have anyone on my ignore list, and I haven't seen a need for it so far. I think it's interesting that it even exists since the mod's here are pretty good at banning people for spam and other things offensive to the site.
