How big of a hard drive can my 2010 iMac handle?

I bought one with a 500GB drive when I bought my iMac last year. And now I'm thinking about sticking a 2TB drive in it (taking it to an authorized place if they can't do it at the Apple Store). Will it hold a 2TB or 3TB drive?

2TB definitely works. I have one in my 2009 24 and 2010 27.

The 24" wasn't too bad. Just take it slow. The 27" I read so many people breaking stuff I paid an Apple authorized service ctr $85.
