Hi, all...

On Monday, I ordered the new high-end 13" MBP (2.9ghz i7/8GB RAM) with a BTO 1TB hard drive. This is my first MBP, so I was curious how big of an external hard drive I should get for Time Machine backups? Would a 1TB drive do it? 2TB or 3TB?

Thanks for your help!

I would recommend you buy as much capacity as you can afford, but a minimum of 1TB.

I have got a 1TB HD in my MBP and I use a 1TB for the backup. As the user above says, its best to buy as much as you can afford because you can keep older backups for longer.
