Its amazing how he was barely hurt from that, surely a grenade would destroy most things let a lone a back pack

thats amazing

didnt something like this happen with another solider a couple months ago?
or am i having dejavu?
either way, this man is 1 brave guy.

when i was in the army we had an exercise with live hand grenades. the idea was to throw it over a wall and duck. a nearby trench was there for the case someone drops the grenade. of course someone dropped the grenade. the sargent jumped into the trench, the soldier slipped and fell right next to the grenade. the sargent jumped out of the trench, kicked the grenade away and pulled the soldier into the trench and the grenade went off a fraction of a second blanketing everything with shrapnel.

there are good people and i'm not sure if i would jump out of safety to safe others. these people deserve the highest respect.

Thats what the sargent is trained to do. Protect those in his charge, Maybe reem them out afterward, but protect them.

The M67 grenade does pack a wallop. Got to throw one in basic too.
