I have a 1st gen iPhone that has not been used as a phone since I upgraded to the 3G on July 12th. I am trying to JB and Unlock it using quickpwn. The Jailbreak works ok but the unlock says it has detected a different sim card please connect to itunes. It even says this when I use my current AT&T sim from my 3G. When I connect to itunes with the 3G sim it starts the activation process but to finish it I will have to lose my FAN discount and go back to first gen plan pricing. When I connect with the t-mobile sim it says the iphone could not be activated with that sim. I have downloaded bootneuter and the settings there are correct. I think because the iphone is not being used as a phone right know and is not activated this is the problem. How do i activate my 1st gen iPhone so that the unlock will work?
