how can i add srt subtitle to an avi movie?

hello everyone

i'm having problem with my movies, i have movie (avi) with it's subtitle (srt) and i want to combine them together so i can watch them with my ipod after converting it to mp4.

anyone have an idea how to do it?

remember:-
1_ i have the movie in avi
2_ i have the subtitle in srt.
3_ i already have program to convert movies from avi to mp4 (xilisoft video convertor)
4_ i only need is a program that i can combine the srt with the avi movie.

You could try VLC player.

It supports .srt files, maybe it is able to output the .avi and .srt combined to another file.
