How can I assign mouse wheel zooming using command key combo?

Hi folks. I would like ot know if there is a setting or an app i can get that I allow me to zoom the application I'm currently using by holding hte command key and moving the mouse wheel forward/backward. This seems to work great in Firefox but I would like it to work with all applications....like in Windows. I DO NOT want to zoom the entire screen, just the DATA in the application I'm in. In Firefox this zooms in and makes texts and pictures bigger. I'm looking to have that option with all applications in Mavericks. Thanks!
