Hi everybody. Tried today to buy no contract iphone 4 in apple store - they told: "We are out of no contract phones, and you cannot order it now"
Maybe better to find bigger store or is like apple rules do not sell no contract phones? pls help to find one

thanks for the answer

I think it depends on the store. I was able to get one without any problems. Also get it from an Apple store because AT&T will force you to sign up with one of those month to month plans.

so you think I need to choose the biggest store in my area?

You can order them from Apple directly in Singapore or Hong-kong.
You can also order them from the Canadian online Apple store with a Canadian credit card and address. Or walk into a Canadian Apple store with cash. 32 GB iP4 = $779 + tax, 16 GB = $659 + tax. Tax varies between 5% and 15% depending on province.

In what part of the world do you reside?

It is available unlocked in many European countries for example.
