I have a late 2007, early 2008 model black MacBook. I've upgraded the RAM and now want to install a larger HDD. The stock 160gb just isn't going to cut it.
I've put the new hard drive in a USB dock and installed Snow Leopard successfully, I can start it up from the USB drive without a problem. The problem occurs when I put that hard drive into the computers internal port and attempt to boot. I get a grey screen, no apple logo, no nothing. Not sure how to fix it?
Also, all my information is stored elsewhere so saving any data is unneccesary, I just want to get the thing to boot with the new HDD.
