I am an iPhone n00b, I bought an unlocked iPhone 3G 4.1 running Cydia. It has met my basic needs to use an iPhone on T-mobile. But I want to change the background from boring black... is this possible?? And what about multitasking? is that a feature only avaliable to iPhone 4? and I found something that made it possible to send MMS but what about receiving them?? any help would be appreciated!

To change your wallpaper just go to settings>wallpaper or you can download winterboard through Cydia and download themes which will change your wallpaper, lockscreen and icons among other things.

For multitasking you should get backgrounder and multifl0w from Cydia.

For MMS you need something called like "T-Mobile MMS fix" or something, i forget the exact name of the package. It may also be called "push fix"
