How can I change the name on Airport

My airport name is "Bill Smith's Network". How can I change it to a more generic or cryptic name? Will the change confuse any other devices or the iMac it is connected to?

Open airport utility.

All network name/password options are under the wireless button thing.

You will have to re-join the network on your imac and any other devices currently connected if you change the name.
