How can I change the serial of my Cider port Star Wars Bttlfrnt 2 to my legal PC one?

I bought a legal PC copy of Star Wars Battlefront 2 a while ago, and never used it. Now I have a Mac, and I want to play the game. I found an illegal Cider port that I downloaded, and it works for singleplayer, but the pirated serial won't play online. I want to use my legal serial to play online.

The file I downloaded was an application file, not a disk image. It never asked me for a serial.
