I dont even know what this is or how it got stuck to the side of the Control button of my 14 Inch M3 MacBook Pro like this, i tried using a thin piece of paper to try and scrub/rub it off the side of the button as its extremely narrow to get in there but its not coming off. I initially tried to vacuum that section of the keyboard thinking it was just dust stuck in there but then realized it was actually something stuck to the side of the button. Do i need to use some sort of a liquid cleaning solution to get this white stuff to dissolve from the button?

DON'T use any kind of liquid.

You might try a toothpick with a flat edge.
If that won't fit, perhaps a VERY small flat-blade screwdriver (like those found in eyeglass repair kits).

Or... if you have a brick n mortar Apple Store near... take it to the genius bar, and ask if they will clean it off for you...

Thanks for the heads up to not use a liquid cleaner or alcohol. I did try to use a toothpick to rub it off but that didn’t work either. I guess my last resort is to try and use some sort of a metallic tool as you mentioned like a small flat screwdriver and rub the white off with that, that might scratch the button though so I’m a little hesitant to be honest

IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol is NOT electrically conductive, so it can be used safely around electronics. In fact, I have seen people clean PC motherboards by fully immersing them in IPA. As long as you allow the components to dry (which is not long when using IPA), there would not be any issues.

Another option that might work is to pick up the type of putty used to stick posters to walls without poking holes in the wall or damaging the paint. That can fill in the nooks and crannies and help get debris out of hard to reach places. You can even use it to clean the charging port and speaker grills on an iPhone.

The only reasonable way to clean AirPods.

Looks like a perfect job for an Xacto #11. If you don't have one, ask anyone that builds model kits or does model trains.
