Apologies if this is the incorrect Forum.
I have some old 35mm colour slides which I want to get onto an iPad.
I first I copied them onto my PC as .jpg pictures.
I then copied them to my Canon IXUS 70 4gb memory SD card, after reformatting the card in the camera.
The pictures now on the card show as excellent on the my PC, however, the camera tells me that there are no images.
It also shows as "no images" when I insert the card into the iPad via the ipad card reader.
Any advice as to how I can get these pictures to the iPad please, or can anyone redirect me to another Forum?
Thanks

If you use dropbox you can upload them from your pc to Dropbox and then download from Dropbox to your iPad. Even if you are not a user set up a free 2 gig account and transfer as many at a time as you can, delete and repeat. The pc and iPad apps are free. If you use iCloud Photostream is another option or transfer via iTunes sync.

For the iPad to detect them via the camera connector they need to be in a directory named DCIM and each filename needs to start with IMG.
