how can i differentiate b/w soft/fact unlock iphone 4S

hey guys,
you won't believe but i have finally managed to sell my software unlocked phone at higher price equal to a factory unlocked iphone 4
and most unbelievable thing is that i have sold it to a cell phone store
he simply swiped couple of sim cards in order to confirm if it's a software unlock.
i bought it 4 months ago at $415 and sold it at $404

anyways, my next silly question is (as I've decided to buy an iphone 4S Factory unlocked...)

how can i differentiate b/w Soft/fact unlocked iphone 4S ?

There is no soft unlock for the 4S. It's either locked, officially unlocked or unlocked with a gevey sim interposer.
If you see a sim adapter in there its not factory unlocked.

Sam unlock is patched and only worked with a specific sim that had to be activated months ago. Bring your own sim or sims to test it.
