I have a 5c Iphone I want to download pic from my iphone 5c to my pc

Plug into your PC with the usb cable. Open Windows Explorer and browse to the phone and the pics. Copy and paste the pics you want. Not too hard. :)

Sorry to hijack this post, but does anyone know why I would all of a sudden be getting an error while copying pictures over using this method?

it used to work just great for me!

now it just says "an unexpected error has occurred, blah blah blah"

Windows computer?

When is that error message popping up?

Is it when you plug your phone in or is it when you are trying to copy files the error message arrives.

You could use iCloud Photo Library. It's still in beta but recently It's been working great. You just log into iCloud go to the photo and click the button with the little cloud and the down arrow. Then it downloads to your computer.
