How can I download lion to make a USB drive?

Ive swapped out my hard drive for an SSD and now want to install Lion - How can I download this without paying for it again.. it was installed on my original hard drive that came with the computer.

(please dont say.. put the old hard drive BACK in the macbook..)

There must be a way of apple knowing Ive bought lion through buying this macbook pro??

Nope. You need to put the old drive back in, make the USB drive copy, then install it on the new drive.
