How can I earn money with my iPhone application?

I am a beginner iPhone applications developer and I would like to know how can I earn money with applications that I created?

Or give it away for free and put adverts in it. Either way don't expect to make much unless your app is massively successful.

Never heard of it before. Some of the more popular mobile advertising platforms include AdMob (now owned by Google), Quattro Wireless (now owned by Apple), Mobclix, JumpTap, and even Google AdSense for Mobile. There's also AdWhirl, a mediation layer, to consider. That's just the tip of the iceberg, really.
