How can I exclude songs from itunes

Hi,

How can I exclude songs from itunes? In other words how can I hide songs or sound (from the operating system ) in itunes?

I just don’t like to see all these sounds and default songs that I don’t even know what they are.

Just delete them from iTunes.

I can see this happening.

A first install of iTunes searches the entire system for any type of media and imports it. I had some weird things showing up when I first set-up iTunes.

Yes.

Just delete them from iTunes.

So, by doing this it won't delete them from my computer?
