Can anyone point out a solution that would allow me to move my 30 inch HD Cinema Display further away from my computer? Currently I am using Apple's Dual Link DVI to Mini DisplayPort adapter to connect the display to my Mac mini. I need to move the display about 10 feet from the Mini. Would a 10 or 12 foot DVI-D extension cable work in conjunction with the Apple adapter?

Not if it's single-link (most of them are). You need a dual-link DVI extension cable. Like this one:

Yep, aware of that need, but the last dual link DVI-D dual link cable I tried resulted in digital noise on the monitor.

Hoping someone has gone down this road and can recommend specific equipment that worked for them.

No personal experience but you could also try a 10ft mini DisplayPort extension cable to keep the DVI section short.

I would like to know as well, which product works with the cinema 30. If anybody has some experience, please kindly report. Thanks

I'm shopping too now that I got my ACD 30" working with the Club3D adapter (HDCP OFF). Noticed some cables from Monoprice allow for analog and digital signal, but I think only digital is needed here for the ACD 30". Will update with what I find that works.

Here's the link to the Club 3D CAC-1510-A that is the HDCP OFF version. Club 3D seems to run their store through Amazon.

I also confirm that a Monoprice digital dual-link DVI extension does the job for extending the cable.
