Hello,

Im trying to determine what font has been used in an image. Is there a tool out there that will tell me the name of the font? I remember that www.whatafont.com use to be able to tell you what font is being used, but now that site is filled with spam. Does anyone know of an alternative?

Thanks in advance!

it's not filled with spam, it's just that the domain name has expired

What about if it's not an image, but copy-able text on a website (say, a blog or a forum post)?

Check the CSS. If it's a forum or a blog that's not using a font replace system then chances are it's one of these:

Verdana
Tahoma
Arial
Helvetica
Georgia
Times New Roman
Palatino
Lucida Sans
Trebuchet Sans
MS Serif
Courier

I hope it's not Courier
