This is a webpage I just finished:

http://home.earthlink.net/~rebafitch/race/RaceAndEthnicityWebsite.htm

I need help with the loading order. Anyone have any suggestions? The most annoying thing is the white "flashing" that occurs because the stylesheet seems to be loaded late.

Here is a screenshot of the "flashing:"

well...

I guess this must just be a Safari thing :( ...
When I loaded up the page on 10.1 with IE, it works just great. Still, why does it load so annoyingly on Safari?

Every Mac web designer needs to have this site bookmarked:

http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/hyatt/

....long story short.. Dave Hyatt, the dude who is doing all the CSS implementation in Safari keeps a running blog of known issues, things that have been fixed, etc. It is like watching a browser be built as it happens.

Cheers,

James

WOW THIS IS GREAT!

Haha there is even a name for my problem! It's the FOUC problem (flash of unstyled content)! Thanks a grip man! :D
