How Can I Get a Better View in the Podcast Section of iTunes?

I think the Podcast section of iTunes is hard to navigate in any of the supplied views. I was doing a search and found the below view, but I can't set it as my default. Is there a way to do that?

Well that's actually showing search results, but you can get pretty much the same view by switching to list view. Then if the artwork isn't showing, click the little right-facing triangle that should be all the way to the left with all the column headers (Podcast, Time, Release Date, etc.)

No problem! That used to be album view, before iTunes 8 introduced grid view. But it didn't go away, it was just hidden inside list view.
