How can i get back external hdd icon in finder again?

i did something that my external hdd icon dissapeared in the finder but its connected,i can see flash drives and the rest but i cant see hdd icon?any suggestions?

Do you mean the side bar?

If so, then you can drag the drive icon navigate to my computer from the Finder and drag it onto the sidebar or with Finder in the foreground select Finder Menu then Preferences and you can set the side bar stuff.
