I have a SCSI based Power Mac 9500/150 (tower) whose monitor does not work. I want to get information off this computer. Can you recommend ways on how I can accomplish this?
Thanks.

Thanks The Bandit.
The 9500 has a cd-rom but no burner and no usb. What could I do to extract information from this old friend? Thanks.

Would any USB 2.0 PCI card fit into the 9500?

Buy, borrow, steal, etc. an external USB HDD enclosure, remove the hard drive and plug it into the new Mac.

I had a USB 1.1 card in my 9500 that worked.
One of the last uses was plugging in a Nano to charge it. It wouldn't sync with the early version of iTunes of course, but the 9.1 OS did recognize the iPod as a drive.
