So I recently backed up and reformatted my MBP. I did a clean install and just dragged and dropped my important files from my backup. I realized that I now do not have my recent iPhone backup on my computer and I have sold the phone. How can I drag the backup file from my backup on my external onto my HDD? Thanks : )

do you even see hte iphone backup files on your external?

I guess my problem is I am not sure where they are stored or what they are called. And if I do find them will dragging them into the exact same spot on my MBP's hard drive carry it over correctly? Then I can just plug my iPhone 4 in and restore?

Thanks : )
