Is there a way other using 2G iphone? There has to be a way. I don't have 2G iphone, and I need unlimited Data.

Call them up and ask to be switched to the old unlimited data package.
Some have had success. Not all reps will do it though, gotta get lucky I guess.

Exactly. Call them up and explain your situation. Depending on what type of AT&T employee you get on the phone (either one that hates or enjoys their job) you might or might not get it back.

Exactly, some got lucky with the first call others had to talk to a dozen reps:D
If they're not willing to do it dont sit there and argue with them, just hang up and call again to speak to someone else.
Be extra nice.

If you're even more nice, you can have AT&T pay your cell phone bill because you have horrible 3G coverage in your house (like I do :D).

Lol:D
There was an outage in my area so calling up and finding out what happened and why 3G was down got me a $50 credit on my next months bill.
So it helps to call and speaking to a rep.

I called up so much that AT&T sent out their cell tower guys to monitor and fix the issue. Since then I've been getting better service and fewer dropped calls.

if you don't get the response you want from a particular rep, just go for the jugular and tell them you wish to close your account, they will then transfer you to the "customer retention" dept. in fact just ask for customer retention as soon as you get a live person and make your request there....has worked like a charm for me for since the company was called Cingular

I'm an idiot and went for the tethering plan without thinking that it capped me. Now I wanna go back, maybe i'll try calling and complaining. I only switched to tethering a couple days ago...

You cant have both the old unlimited plan and the official tethering though.
Tethering will only add on or work the the 200mb or 2GB plan.

I called att and told them I used to have it and need it back. They said they would file a claim. 2 days later i checked my data usage and it said unlimited. :D
