My wife and I started using google calendar for our "family" calendar. Before when we used icloud and an event was added we would get the notification badge and the event would be found in my inbox on the stock calendar app. It doesn't seem to happen that way if we use the google calendar...it syncs to the other person's calendar but no notification so you don't know something was added unless you stumble upon it in the app. By the way, I don't want to use Google's calendar app... I prefer using the stock calendar app. Basically, I want to be able to get the alert on my iPhone's stock calendar app when an event is added to our shared google calendar. Thanks.

[doublepost=1537812348][/doublepost]I thought maybe it was one of those things apple didn't want to feature since it was google.
It could very well be one of those things that either Google doesn't support or doesn't support when it comes to iOS/Apple.
