I'd like to get a 16GB iPad Air Wifi only for a friend.

It doesn't matter if it's been used or refurbished.

Is there some sort of deals out there if I use a certain credit card or some other way I can get a really good price on one?

Thanks.

Wait until they announce the iPad Air 2 later this year?

It all depends on what you consider a good price. 16 Gb refurbs are now $419 in the apple online store.

What!? With your millions ... this is chump change. Maybe 15 minutes of work.

Yeah I wish! If I made 600 every 15 minutes that'd be something else.

I think I might just wait and see what the new one is like and buy that if it's good.

The BEST deals can be had on Ebay. A couple of days ago a 32GB Air "NIB" was selling for $485 with free shipping. It was from an electronics vendor with a high rating and they had several hundred in their inventory with a 30 day return policy. That's the only way I would buy any electronic device. Deal with the big boys when they are looking to unload massive stock.

I got mine with a 100 dollar gift card from Target. Good thing I got it locally, as I opened it in the store and it had dust under the screen. My current one is perfect though. Just be careful about online, u can't be too sure if it's condition.

Best Buy has a deal going on right now. iPad Air 16GB WiFi for $100 off, or, for $399.

That is a good deal, too bad it's so close to the refresh though. And IIRC last year around Black Friday or shortly after that BB was offering up similar deals like $75 off and Target was doing like either $100 or $200 trade in for any iPad regardless of conditions.

also if your a student and use a .edu email address you get an extra 50 dollars off. Im thinking about jumping on this deal since i want to get an air for school; however, i want a 32 gb instead 16. I then seen this deal iPad mini 32 gb for 430 on ebay.

Im very tempted to get this, even though i already had a 16 gb mini, and it was fine, but i wanted extra storage and maybe the extra screen space since i will be reading pdfs and other documents.

I just got back from Best Buy.

2 Day sale today and tomorrow only is $100 off.

But wait, there's more.

If you have a .edu address, go to Best Buy's website and enter it, and you'll get ANOTHER $50 off!

I just bought my iPad Air for $350 to replace my iPad 4th gen. Yes it's close to a refresh, but I usually buy every other iPad anyway. I guess I'll wait until iPad Air 3 (iPad Generation 7), since I don't feel that iPad needs much upgrading every year anyway.

If I order an iPad from apple.com educational store for store pickup, what kind of id/proof do they require at the store? I am ordering it for my son but don't have his id with me (he is in another city). He wants the 32GB version, not the 16GB version on sale at BB.

They need a student ID, or another photo ID with proof of enrollment. Here's the page with the details.

I'm not sure if he can scan the ID and email it to you. He can do with the CamScanner app.

Why in store pick up?

When I bought my son's iMac last summer there was no proof of enrolment required; bought it online since it was BTO and delivered to our door. Happily I was on vacation when FedEx delivered it.

Cheers

T-Mobile offering LTE enabled 16GB iPad Air for the same price of a WiFi only iPad air with $0 down at purchase. Comes out to about $26/month for 2 years or about $498 total
