I upgraded to Leopard and my ex hd that i have designated for time machine still has the laci hd picture. I would really like the time machine icon. What can i say, i really like that color green they use :)
Thanks

1. Find Time Machine in your applications folder.
2. Get Info on it
3. Click on the little Icon in the top left corner of the Get Info Dialog, and press Cmd+C
4. Now get info on your external HD
5. Click the little icon again, and press Cmd+V

This is assuming it works like Tiger

That is an awesome trick. I had no idea that was possible. What i originally meant in the post was ow to get the disk image icon. Like when you open TM preferences, above the change disk button is a green hd icon.

But the actual TM logo is cooler. I did notice that the lacie image is still in the finder window on the left under devices. Any trick for that?

Remove the old icon from the list by dragging it out, then drag the new icon into the devices list. That should work.

Well, i just booted up the hd and it corrected itself. So now the TM icon is now in the finder. Thanks for the tip though!
