I want to try out NetShare, considering that O2 give UK customers unlimited data on their contract. However, I can't get access to it because it seems that even the Apps Stores are 'region locked' (for want of a better phrase !)
There are other apps as well I want to seek out but it's a bit of a pain.

Any suggestions, or has someone already asked this of Apple ??

apparently apple has taken down that application for all their stores. You are just getting that not available in region error as it is not available anywhere.

It was available in the UK, but as philiporeilly said, it's been removed (and re-added, and removed again) form the AppStore by Apple.

If you've got a jailbroken phone you can just use "ssh -D" to tether.
