I like to DJ in my spare time and use the macbook for my software program, but using the integrated cam doesnt give a good angle at my mixers. I used the xbox live vision cam with my PC laptop, but I got rid of it and only have the macbook now.

Ive tried just plugging it in and I dont know how to access it. I occasionally do live mixes on stickam where you dont get to choose which cam to use. So if I can get the xbox cam to work, how can I temporarily disable the integrated cam?

Ive searched google all of last night and couldnt find and answer.

Thanks in advance.

The application selects the device. What application are you using with the camera?

EDIT: I see now that Stickam is the application. I know I can select different cameras in Skype.

Yeah ive tried with other applications like omegle where you could choose the device to see if the macbook read it, but I didnt see it in the drop down list. Is there drivers I need to download or should it be plug n play?
