How can I hide my IP on my mac

With all the word watching and waiting to pounce on your ip footprint for:
SPAM
IDENTITY THEFT
MARKETING
MOVIE DOWNLOADING
ETC

How would a person hide there ip adress. Very simple on pc, where can I go to find this info, doesn't have to be free. But must work

Hide IP Address

Your best bet is to use proxy server. That's what I use in Transmission
