So, I have a bootcamp partition that is about 100GB, and now that space is filling up. How can I increase the bootcamp parititon using disc utility? I've created the partition under the main parition, so no matter how much I decrease the size of my main partition, it will not let me resize the windows partition to allocate the empty space.

Is there a way around this? do I have to use different software?

I have tried to increase a Yosemite partition, which resides with a Mavericks partition on my internal drive. It wouldnt work from either start up. When I looked in the Apple forums, there was a terminal code suggestion, but I was afraid to attempt it. If you search those forums, you may find your answer. I will attempt to find it again and post it here.

Edit: Here is what I found.
