i would like to install lion on my fathers computer, he has his own apple id, i have mine. How can i install lion on his computer?

While technically against the terms of the license agreement, you could burn a disk with the method from MacRumors front page and do a DVD install.

In his Mac AppStore application, sign him out and login under your Apple Id?

I thought about that, but I don't know if there would be a problem every time there was an update he would have to put in my password and stuff?

You could always create a separate Admin user account on his computer, sign into the App store with your ID from that account, download and install lion, and then delete the second account?

We haven't seen a 10.7 update yet. But I assume it'd be rolled using Software Updates instead of App Store.

Well... Hopefully. That would solve your problem of future updates.
