I have 128ssd and its filling up. I saw that a huge portion of this was because my iphoto size... What would be the best way to maybe free up space on my laptop by having it on an external? I don't use iPhoto much other than keeping my pictures on there. No editing or much.. I do use photostream a bit and stuff..

Any suggestions?

Yeah, just copy the library over to the external - i think.

Thanks, ill wait for a bit more info though. Im trying to have a fully functioning library I guess. If possible. I just have to free up space on my laptop asap.

Just move the iPhoto Library, then double-click it to open it in iPhoto. From then on, iPhoto will open that library and store imported photos in it, unless you open a different library. If the external drive isn't plugged in, it'll ask you which library to use and present you with a list of any it can find.
