How can I make a perfect copy of my hard drive to another?

I have an extra hard drive that I would like to make a perfect copy of my current hard drive in my MacBook.

what are some freebie programs that can do this pretty easily?

People seem to quite like Carbon Copy Cloner (or CCC). Others (including myself) use SuperDuper! but it's not fully Leopard compatible yet.

Yah Carbon Copy is a great little piece of software, I use it all the time!

Carbon Copy Cloner is uncrippled shareware, free of charge unless you want to make donations. (which it is more than worthy of)

I love the program and use it regularly.

How would you use Disk Utility to create a bootable copy of your HD?

BTW, CCC is donation ware.
