How can I make a ringtone and send it to my phone?

I have an AT&T phone, not an iPhone, but I want to make a ringtone for it using a song in my iTunes library. I want only like a 30 second part of the song, and I was wondering if anyone knew any good software to make and send it to the phone? I have an MP3 compatible ringtone phone, however it's a Pay As You Go so I'm not sure as far as capabilities go...I think I know how to SMS it to my phone but I need to find a good software to cut, clip, and maybe change format if needed. Thanks guys!

Do you have a Mac? If so, use Garageband.

Just google 'make ringtones using itunes' then when you mastered it, just bluetooth it too your phone, 2 minutes and jobs done
