How can I make my Blogging experience easier??

I want to create a simple and easy way to work on my blog. What is the easiest way to get my blogging working, and have the most customization available, as to not make it look like a default template.

Here are my sources
Adobe Contribute CS3
iWeb
Account on Blogger
Web Server

My current setup is Contribute with blogger but I have problems as Blogger gives the program wrong link, I cannot edit blogs, and only thing its able to do is type a blog and post.

If you have .Mac definitely use iWeb.

Unfortunately I dont, since I want to get it for free I got Blogger. Finally found a blog that Contribute is a horrible program so now I am left with iWeb or Dreamweaver ohh man why is blogging hard.

Anyway got a good way to make iWeb work with non .mac blogs?

Is wordpress a blog and Blogging software all in one? and can I set it up to my website or have to ftp it?
Also is it easy to manage and have HTML features?

Figured it out, since I have blogger on personal site, I am limited to what they offer if I was to go with them I can have more customization. Now I am trying to see how I can make this work for me.
